Plaster Cement Perlite is composed of hydraulic cement, Perlite, and selected aggregates with special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site, which requires only the addition of clean water to produce a cohesive mix. Plaster Cement Perlite is a high-quality product and provides underlayment on various facets of the projects.

Uses
- Internal & external plaster on block walls and rough surfaces.
- Plastering on fair-faced concrete and precast panels after Spatter Dash SB scratch coat.
- Improving thermal resistance properties as well as sound dampening.
Advantages
- Factory controlled pre-blend ensures consistently high quality.
- Requires only the addition of water on-site at the time of usage.
- Lightweight.
- Assist the thermal insulation systems in thermal insulation.
- Easy application with uniform workflow enables high productivity & superior finishing.
- Strong adhesion on a variety of substrates.
- Internal & external applications.
- Shrinkage control reduces surface cracks.
Usage Instructions
The substrate should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, or any other substance that might impair the substrate’s bonding quality.
Before the Plaster Cement Perlite application, damp the entire surfaces with clean potable water. The substrate should be a neutralized surface at the time of the Plaster Cement Perlite application.
Add to the mixing container 6.25 - 7 liters of water for each 25 Kg bag of Plaster Cement Perlite. Add the powder to the water and mix with a mechanical plaster mixer or low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle for 3-4 minutes until achieving a uniform, lump-free consistency.
Do not add water to the mix once the mixed mortar starts to harden.
Apply Spatter Dash SB before the application of Plaster Cement Perlite.
Apply Plaster Cement Perlite in single or multiple layers on rough surfaces. On smooth surfaces, apply Plaster Cement Perlite after the application of a spatter-dash coat.
Rod or level to a uniform thickness immediately, then smoothen the material to the desired appearance.
For multiple layers, allow the plaster to partially dry (60- 120 minutes depending on the weather). Apply the second coat at thickness as described above and to the desired appearance, or follow the ASTM C926 procedures for better layer application results regardless of the weather conditions.
After the surface appears stiff but still moist, smoothen the material to achieve the desired appearance.
Cure Plaster Cement Perlite by spraying water on its surface every 8-12 hrs for a minimum of 3 days. During hot & dry conditions, allow curing for a minimum of 5 days. It will help to obtain high mechanical strengths and minimize the risk of surface cracks.
Clean tools with water before the mortar hardens. After the hardening, remove the residuals mechanically.
