<p>Turathco AC is a two-component acrylic emulsion-based, traditional decorative coating with varied historical collections that offers an attractive appearance, an ancient, heritage look, and simulates the look of ancient mud houses.</p>
All surfaces should be dry and free of contamination, such as oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, moss, algae growth, and all traces of mold release oils and curing compounds. This is best achieved by lightly grit-blasting the surface. Where moss, algae, or similar growths have occurred, treatment with a proprietary biocide should be carried out after the grit-blasting process. Spalled and deeply disintegrated concrete should be removed to sound concrete and repaired with a Saveto repair system.
Application tools:
Manually by hand using gloves.
For interior and exterior applications:
Prior to applying, properly mix the paint with the treated straw fibers.
Apply a single coat of “Turathco AC” to achieve the required film thickness.
Create the ideal design based on the client’s preferences.
Allow Turathco AC to dry for at least 7 days before commissioning. At higher temperature 30 °C dry for 4 days. At lower temperature below 12 °C dry for 10 days.
Immediately after the application, clean all tools and equipment with tap water. Hardened material can be removed by mechanical means.
Turathco AC should not be applied at ambient temperature below 5 °C.
Turathco AC should not be applied on surfaces expected to suffer from rising dampness or relative humidity greater than 8% and the relative humidity at work place should not exceed 70%.
Do not apply the next coat unless the previous one is fully dry. Minimum recoating interval time should be followed.
Do not apply on wet and moistened surfaces until completely dry.
Turathco AC should be stirred carefully before use.
