Vetonit Putty Fine Extra

High quality water-based wall putty, designed for smooth and level finishes.

<p>Vetonit Putty Fine Extra is a water-based putty with high smooth finish. It is supplied as a wet putty in pre-weighed pails ready to use on-site. Vetonit Putty Fine Extra is a high-quality &amp; performance product that is used as a thin underlayment to repair undulations. It provides a very smooth surface finish that is ideal for subsequent application of paint &amp; decorative coatings. Generally, Vetonit Putty Fine Extra can be applied in maximum thickness of 0.7 mm.</p>

Uses

  • Use for leveling of minor surface undulations. 
  • Apply internally in dry conditions onto the walls and ceilings. 
  • Use on concrete, plastered surfaces that are smooth, precast concrete surfaces, and on wood. 
  • Suitable for use over plastered surfaces with Vetonit products, gypsum boards, and wood surfaces. 
  • Suitable for use over Vetonit Putty WR.

Usage Instructions

The surface should be sound, clean, free from loose material, grease, laitance, dirt curing compound, etc.

For previously painted surfaces, remove the old paint before the application of Vetonit Putty Fine Extra.

Allow wet surfaces to dry completely before the putty application.

Generally, apply Vetonit Putty Fine Extra in single or double coats.

Apply Vetonit Putty Fine Extra to the substrate by pressing the putty firmly. Use a flat trowel to work the mixed material to a smooth level.

Once the first coat dries, apply a second coat as necessary.

After applying Vetonit Putty Fine Extra, it is recommended to apply one coat of alkali-resistant primer followed by two coats of acrylic emulsion paint or other suitable coatings.

Vetonit Putty Fine Extra is self-drying and does not require water treatment.

Clean all tools immediately after finishing with water. As for the hardened materials, clean them mechanically.
