Vetoproof TOP is a single-component, cold-applied, flexible acrylic copolymer-based elastomeric waterproofing membrane. It offers excellent long-term waterproofing characteristics and resistance to UV degradation while remaining flexible for superior crack-bridging ability. As an all-cross-linking acrylic, Vetoproof TOP resists yellowing, color fading, and has excellent dirt pick-up resistance.

All surfaces should be dry and free from contamination, such as oil, grease, loose particles, decayed matter, moss algal growth, laitance, and all traces of mold release oils and curing compounds. This is best achieved by lightly grit-blasting the surface. Where moss, algae, or similar growths have occurred, carried out treatment with a proprietary biocide after the grit-blasting process. Remove spalled and deeply disintegrated concrete to sound concrete and repair it with a saveto repair system.
Concrete substrates should be at least 14 days old; bituminous substrates should be 3 to 6 months old before overcoating with Vetoproof TOP.
Apply Vetoproof TOP by brush, roller, or airless spray machine. Prime porous cementitious surfaces with Vetoprime TOP at the rate of 5 m2/liter and allow it to dry before applying the first coat. Apply the first coat of Vetoproof TOP and allow it to cure for 4 - 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature.
Apply the second coat perpendicular to the first coat and allow it to cure.
It is recommended for heavy pedestrian traffic to use fiberglass scrim reinforcement, embedded firmly in the second coat while wet, and a third coat should be applied.
Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after finishing. Clean hardened materials mechanically.
