Vetotop CS537 is a single component cementitious bonded floor screed composed of hydraulic binders, silica sand, selected aggregates, and special additives. It is supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site. Once mixed, it will form a trowelable screed mortar applied in thicknesses between 20 and 100 mm.

Vetotop CS537 is a bonded screed that can be laid in thickness between 20 - 100 mm.
An epoxy bonding agent can be used for more adhesion, such as Vetobond EB430 or Vetobond EB431. Vetobond PB434 slurry can also be used.
To prepare the slurry primer, mix 1 volume of Vetobond PB434 to 1 volume of clean water with 3 volumes of fresh cement and mix until a smooth consistency is achieved. Scrub the mixed slurry into the concrete surface; while the slurry is wet, apply Vetotop CS537 to ensure good adhesion with the substrate.
For mixture preparation, pour into a container 4.5-5 liters of water for 50 Kg bag of Vetotop CS537.
Add the powder to the water and mix with a low-speed electric drill fitted with a suitable paddle until a uniform, lump-free consistency mix is achieved. Do not add further water to the mix. Do not add water to the mix once it starts to set.
Pour the mixed product onto the surface and spread to the desired thickness using a steel trowel or suitable tools. Cover the surface with a plastic sheet to avoid drying.
Cure the screed as per standard concrete curing practices. Do not subject the screed to vehicular traffic for 28 days till ensuring full cure and the system’s ability to withstand designed traffic loads.
A concrete sealer is required for enhancing the screed durability and resistance to ingress of water. Apply Vetoseal XW770 at a rate of 8 to 12 m2 per liter. Make sure that the sealer is uniformly applied and covering all screed surfaces.
Clean tools with water promptly before material hardens. Hardened material can be mechanically removed.
